Initial Thoughts
I recently checked out a book named "Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident" and so far it's really good. It's the follow-up of "Artemis Fowl", which I absolutely loved! The author of this series of books is Eoin Colfer, I've read a few of his other books and they're pretty good too.
Judging by the cover of the book, it looks like the story takes place in the cold and in a jail-like setting. It was really intriguing so I decided to give it a chance. The title also ties in with the cover art, there's a huge incident that happens in an area where it's freezing.
So far in the book it's just been introducing existing and new characters like Artemis and Holly. Artemis has just got a lead on where his father could be. He's been missing for 2 years and was declared legally dead, but Artemis doesn't believe that he's dead, so he's funding an expedition to find and rescue his father. So exciting! Can't wait to get further into the book.
